Riders,

 

500 troopers of the 2nd Battalion/137th Infantry, KSARNG return home this Thursday after deployment to Iraq. The families of these brave soldiers requested our presence to escort the troopers from Forbes Field to The Kansas ExpoCenter at 17th and Topeka Blvd, and to join them in welcoming the soldiers home.

SARDog (sardog76@aol.com) will be Ride Captain for this Special Mission. Staging at American Legion Post 400 at 1100. Times and Details to follow.

 

This is the same unit that Sgt. Jesse Davilla was in. They are now coming home. There may be an opportunity to escort a bus of 30 soldiers to KC and another bus of 42 to the armory on South Seneca in Wichita.
